“A lamp can never light another lamp unless it continues to burn in its own flame”- Rabindranath Tagore.
A teacher can never truly teach unless she is still learning herself. Such has been my journey… of learning to teach and teaching to learn. I continue along my path, with a sincere commitment to personal growth, to unravel my inner potential with utmost integrity, alongside reiterating my raison d’ etre… to make that difference in the lives of children and the world, at large.
Having worked in the domain of early childhood over the last 2 decades, today I find it extremely interesting to traverse the bridge that links learning in the early years right through young adulthood. In alignment with the same, I have recently completed a Masters in Education and IB Educator Certificates ( MA IBEC) University of Bath, UK.
My ongoing research assignments are related to the function of play in the Early Years; the role of PYP transdisciplinary framework in laying the appropriate foundation for 21st Century knowledge and skills; the process of assessment design and curriculum development as both backward and forward-looking .. that are a few amongst some of the relevant topics today.
Current Engagements
Passionately committed towards quality education and a high level of instruction, I deeply value positive and respectful relationships and choose to thrive in a professional culture of collaborative learning.
